It's nice to have a tri-band HT with 220. 1.2 GHz was never popular in Michigan, at least when I was active, so it always seemed like a waste to include it instead of 220 in tri-band and even in quad-band radios. The price is definitely right. Ease of use is well below the Japanese manufacturers, but you'll get the hang of it after a while. It's sad how inactive the bands are now that I finally have an excellent radio for 220. This year is my 30th anniversary of being a ham.

Трехдиапазоенная рация. У самого продавана путаница с защитой гдето ip68 гдето 67 по факту 66. На распродаже повелся на цену в 2 тысячи рублей и большой батарейкой 6600 мАч - это ложь обычная uv-5r на тех же частотах продержалась сутки - эта громадина 27 часов. Аккумулятор прошел 6 полных циклов разряд - заряд. Рация скорее всего на базе r - батарея и кредл с uv-5r несовместимы. Хотя гарнитура и дата кабель подходят - частоты залил выбрав r. По объему рация больше чем 5r по весу примерно такаяже, докупил позже еще батарейку за пол цены рации - штука рубчиков. Спорный дизайн. Радует расположение кнопок - оно более "правильное" как на кнопочном телефоне цифра 0 на своем месте. Клипса крепится к батарее, которая отстегнутся и прощай рация. Пока не вскрывал и в воду не опускал. Дизайн более современный - для понтов. Берите лучше uv-5r - в рф новую за косарь нашел. Можно за полторы 3 диапазонную взять. Тогда все запчасти и прибамбасы будут совместимы.
